Edward arrived in the United States from Eastern Europe in 1923 at the age of 13 with his mother and sisters, went to school and then began work as a plumber. By 1983, Kolin Plumbing Corp. was on Inc Magazine’s 500 fastest growing private companies in America and again on the 500 list in 1984. By 1991, Harvey recognized the need for a company that specialized only on water heater installations. So, they created Dial-a-Water-Heater. <span>Dial-a-Water-Heater was marketing the traditional way via radio and tv advertising. At the same time, the Internet began to change how businesses connected with their clients. With great foresight, in 1994 Harvey was able to obtain the top level domain name waterheaters.com. </span></p><p><span><br/></span></p><p><span><br/></span></p><p><span>In 1999, Scott Kolin took over the helm and created Waterheaters.com, and, as they say; the rest is history.
